We reserved a site for a weekend. We then had a change in plans and Lakeside did not give us a refund. Nothing was said at the time I reserved, and there is nothing on their website about non-refundable reservations. Also, most campgrounds only ask for a deposit, and the deposit is non-
refundable -- that policy makes sense. We were charged the entire amount beforehand. That's not how you run a business. We will try to dispute the charge.
The price ($50/ night) expects a nice place. NOT! Dark, mildewed, old. The utilities were not even placed together! I came in after dark and couldn't even FIND the water! They were supposed to have cable with 80 channels. Didn't work. And I couldn't get my 4G working there, either! Didn't even check out their bath house. Wasn't interested in finding out if I would get trenchfoot. The employees were nice.
It’s a fine place for a quick overnight. Near a loud road. They advertise free WiFi and cable but have neither. Payed $50 with good Sam discount. The one very positive thing is that the owner was Super nice!
Will not give you a refund if you have a change in plans very dirty, loud road right beside rv park, creepy neighbors that go through laundry if you dont keep your eye on your own, lied about having Wi-Fi and cable and refuse to update anybody about it. Owner makes inappropriate jokes to women and made me feel uncomfortable doing so by saying I could stand beside the road and advertise for the business because of my looks. On the bright side… you get to have shade in the summertime
