Discovered this amazing camping spot. Beautiful sunsets by the river. We had the whole location to ourselves and my dog loved being able to run around here and go for a swim. There are lots of solor lights placed around the 3 camping sites along with fire pits and even a portapotty. Picnic benches and 2 wooden swings to sit on. Lots of fishing spots so bring your poles.

A beautiful campground, right on the river, shady camp spots, large firepits and good picnic tables. Its primitive (no water, no electricity, not bathhouse) but the porta potty was spotless and away from the campsites. We will be returning here.

5 big glittering, golden stars. This really was THE best camping spot I have ever been to (with ease of access). This privately-owned slice of Heaven is definitely going on my repeat list. With that being said, I need to admit that my first experience here was a singular one: NO ONE ELSE WAS ON THE GROUNDS! We took the middle fire pit and that left two, but I’m not sure how many total tent sites are considered to be here. We had the entire place to ourselves. And the weather was perfection. I don’t know how we got so lucky. The owner was fantastic, with quick, thorough responses.

It is immediately evident that the grounds are not just cared-for, but loved. Also, and maybe not least important, the port-a-Jon is very well-maintained.

Next time I come I’m bringing a fishing pole and my SLR with low-light lens.

Gorgeous campground with a stunning view! Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed swimming in the river and watching the sunset. The spots are very spacious and our neighbors were quiet and friendly. The porta John was the cleanest I’d ever seen.

The owner was very nice and friendly as well as helpful. Any questions I had were answered. The campground is very well maintained, peaceful, and a beautiful setting for quality time outdoors with family. My children, partner, and I all enjoyed the sunsets on the river, fishing, and being able to view the stars with out city lights. You truly feel as though you are away from the rest of the world, but in reality stores are not too far away if you find you forgot something and need to make a trip (learned from my own experience). If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to camp and wish without the over-crowding of some area campgrounds, this is absolutely the place you should visit.
