Sweet little place to take the kiddos for a quick getaway.
They had some really fun activities for them on Saturday that went on throughout the day including Water Wars, which most of the entire campground took part of and made for an awesome time.
Pool was comfortable and clean. Lots of friendly people and safe to let our kids wander around to do their own thing. Golf cart rentals were $50 a day which we loved. We sadly didn't get any bites from the fishing pond.
Our tent site at 210 was spacious enough for us and had 2 picnic tables.
My only real complaint was the lack of phone service, but thats to no fault of the campground itself. I have Boost Mobile and had ZERO service out there, but my husband with Straight Talk had full bars. They do offer wifi access for $2 per device for 7 days though. It didn't quite reach our campsite all the time but it was plenty good enough everywhere else.
We will definitely be coming back before the season ends and in the years to come.
Great place to stay! Staff was very friendly, and facilities were clean. We booked last min and they were able to accommodate all our needs. We ended up coming in quite late, and our plans were staggered. They were even able to let us do a late check out. The ONLY reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the location on the sewer and water hook ups for sites 110 - 118ish.(evens) Our site was quite spacious, but our sewer hook up was just a few feet from our neighbors front door. They really had no other options to position. Then in my site, the sewer hook up was quite close to our RV, and so on down the line. We stayed for the weekend so didn't really need the full hook ups, and dumped our tanks after our neighbors left, and moving the trailer. But, if you were to stay longer, and require the hook up, it may be tough to arrange. Otherwise, AWESOME weekend.
They were able to accommodate us at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances which was great.
Definitely a place for kids. Lots to do.
Park lost power for a few hours so the scheduled concert on Sat evening went late and it was pretty loud. We didn't mind but I imagine others did.
We were able to access the AT from the campsite which was cool.
Overall a nice place if you don't mind lots of people and noise. There appear to be a lot of regulars here. All very friendly.
Campground has activities every weekend, something for everyone. Staff keeps it clean, bathhouses are well maintained. Amenities are great. 2 playgrounds, mini golf, shuffleboard, dart's for adults, and many more. Great place to bring the family.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our time so far as a seasonal camper this year. Time and money is being put back into the campground and it definitely shows. We have enjoyed each of the music festival weekends, the themed weekends, bingo and other activities for families.
