After 10 years of camping, this was by far the noisiest location we've experienced. Turnpike on one side, very busy secondary roads on two other sides (many motorcycles and buses). Also a nearby shooting range added to the non-stop irritation.

We come every year to camp to save on lodging as we explore pa! It has fun family activities clean facilities and isn't crazy far from most activities. Only possible issue for some is its right on top of a gun range but since I'm a huge 2a supporter it doesn't bother me or my family one bit. They have arcades ponds and a haunted house during holoween weekend. If ur not huge into guns don't let that stop you from at least checking it out some days are quieter than others and there is still a ton to do!

BED BUGS in the cabins! DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed in Cottage 3 with three young children and during the first night I found it was infested with bed bugs. We had to leave the cottage at midnight and stay in my parents tiny camper (it only sleeps 2.) The bed bugs are in the walls, bed frame, and crawling around. There is very clear evidence of this. There are bed bugs of all stages (eggs, nymphs, adults). BEWARE. The employees and owner are not overly concerned about this, and they KNOW they have a bed bug problem, but they continue renting to guests. They claim to have some kind of treatment system they perform on their own, but it either sucks or they don't actually treat it at all. The infestation is BAD. Please do not stay here. All it takes is bringing one egg-laying adult home on your person or in/on your luggage to cause an infestation in your home. We stayed here because we had Ren Faire tickets, but we had to spend the weekend washing and drying all of our clothes and bedding and missed most of it. I got a refund for my stay. I can't believe my parents still had to pay for their stay after all we went through. None of us got to enjoy our weekend away. Do not stay here.

Aside from the BED BUGS, the staff are cordial albeit rather indifferent to our BED BUG experience. The furniture in the cottage is underwhelming and the futon is in disrepair and not a practical place for anyone to sleep/sit. The turnpike traffic is loud and the shooting range is bothersome throughout the day. But I wouldn't mind these things if the campground didn't KNOWINGLY let people stay in bed bug infested cabins.
