Very nice and clean camp ground. Multiple playgrounds and activities for the kids. We stayed in a premium patio site and it was very spacious and nicely laid out. Will be back again. Only downfall is check in is at 3pm. Wish you could do/pay for early check in.
This is a nice, small campground. Cabins are in good shape. I did have a weird experience that I suppose falls under 'service' in my most recent October stay. During a kids craft activity, the owner (I believe her name was Linda) made an room-wide announcement defending why the campsite is so diligent about greeting each car coming into the campground (not sure what brought the topic up in the first place...). She went on to mention that its a safety precaution and referenced a child abduction at a NY state campground. It seemed odd to make a kidnapping-related announcement in a room full of little ears. I'd rather not defer discussions about child abductions with my young children to a campsite owner. Again, this was a kid craft activity....
Absolutely loved this campground! The staff were extremely helpful and communicated the happenings daily. This is a family oriented campground so if you are wanting to get away and party then it’s probably not for you. All sites are well maintained and the common areas were decorated for Halloween too! Lot’s of activities for families.
This was our first time staying at a KOA campground. Not knowing what to expect we were extremely happy after tent camping for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend.
Staff were all so helpful and nice. Store was stocked with everything you can forget, treats and souvenirs.
Restrooms were large and clean. Playgrounds were great for the kids. Tons of activities throughout the weekend.
We stayed on Site T-30, and was a great size. We had a 9 person tent, screen room, 2 vehicles and everything needed to cook and enjoy the fire ring.
I almost booked a 7 day stay at this campground for the end of August 2024. I was hoping to stay in one of the deluxe cabins. I am so HAPPY I started to read the specific information about the campground. I want to make this part clear. I WAS NOT BRINGING ANY DOG ON THIS FAMILY TRIP. But I started to read a comment on the website “We do not accept the following breeds: Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Pit Bulls/Staffordshire Terriers, or mixed breeds of these animals or any pet that is aggressive.” That completely made up my mind about this place. We will NOT be staying at a place that discriminates against certain dog breeds. I can only imagine what else they discriminate against.
