About Campground

Camping in the Brandywine Valley is full of fun and adventures. Our meandering, countryside river is perfect for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fishing. Bring your own canoes or kayak, rent our yellow canoes and take off from the KOA Canoe Landing, or take a day trip with a local outfitter. Reconnect, recreate, rest and relax by a campfire as you share stories, memories, and food with each other, family, and friends. Kids of all ages will love our playground, jump pad, mini golf, swimming pool, gift shop, butterfly garden, and hand-dipped ice cream.

With Lancaster to our West and Philadelphia to our East, go back in time with a visit to historic Philadelphia & Valley Forge or take a drive through the Lancaster Amish Country. In our Brandywine River Valley, explore the mansions and gardens of Longwood, Winterthur, Hagley, and Nemours, or head to the South where you can get hot chips off the line at the Herr's Potato Chip Factory. Go to brandywinevalley.com, visitphilly.com, visitwilmingtonde.com, and discoverlancaster.com to plan your extended stay.

Not what we expected. When we made reservations we made reservations for a campsite by the river, but when we got there they said they were fully booked and did not have any sites by the river and we ended up on a campsite on a hill very close to other campers. Tent camping on a hill is very uncomfortable to sleep and to cook since our table was slanted, not ideal for a butane stove. People were walking their dogs through our campsite throughout the day. Wasn't that great of an experience here.

I found the campground to be safe and very clean. This was our first time camping. We usually use our RV. The bathhouse and bathrooms were clean. The canoes were really fun!!! The butterfly garden was small but inspiring. The grounds and flowers were well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything that was under their control was well done. Excellent campground. As a family we will return. Thank you for a great experience!!!

We camped here for 4 days. There was a vintage car & motorcycle event in Coatsville and was the closest campground to the event. We stayed in site 47. Big lot for both the RV and our truck pulling the motorcycle trailer. Campground is on a hill so it was hard to get the RV leveled. Picnic table slanted as well. Nice Walking path, once you got down the initial hill to the surrounding river. Pet friendly! Dog park as well which we used--thank you for that!! ❤️

This is a great campground for families and couples. Great things to keep kids occupied. Water to fish and enjoy. Nice areas for dogs to run. We enjoyed the little hiking trail. The bathrooms were were clean and roomy. Staff was nice as well. Sites were nicely sized and you don't feel cramped in.
