Just off CO 149. Short walk from parking area. Really nice place to stretch your legs.
The most majestic and powerful waterfall after the flat plains open up to the earth. Also there are two other beautiful waterfalls in the same area that you can hike right up to. Great camping at North Creek also. So many wild flowers and even wild strawberries! I shall return!!
Fantastic place to visit if you aren't a big hiker! North clear creek falls is right off the road and completely visible after a short 5 yard walk to the edge of the cliff. If you do want to hike a little visit the bottom of this park area and take about a half mile walk to the south fall where you can walk right up to the bottom. Beautiful spot.
We did both the overlook and hike and it was definitely a sight to see! The drive from Creede to Lake City is also very beautiful!!
