Very Pleasent! The volunteer came over and was kind and introduced himself. We discussed campers and repair and general information about the park.

Great views and nicely spaced camp sites. Not a lot of trees for shade, bit some of the sites have built in shade canopies. The reason for a 4 star is the fire rings have a steele base you are supposed to put your fire on and most of the sites it is warped and doesn't seem safe.

Beautiful view of the lake! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice, relaxing and quiet. Will definitely be coming back to this RV park again in the future.

As of April, 2022, this camping park is Amazing and definitely worth the visit.

Park was still partially closed due to winter weather conditions. RV camping with water, electricity and dump but no tent camping, no bathrooms open yet.

Definitely make online reservations.

Check weather conditions before visiting. Area gets severe weather conditions. During our stay, temps dropped to the 20's with severe gusty winds.

Lake is very low with only light fishing and boating activity.

Views are gorgeous, with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Lots of wildlife.

Host and rangers were friendly and welcoming.

Only 20 minutes to town of Ignacio for food, fuel, shopping and Casino. Only 45 minutes to Durango.

Highly recommend but be prepared.
