Have stayed here twice now in the past year and plan on staying again this summer. Absolutely the best campground I have stayed at. Facilities are clean and ample to handle the amount of traffic. Never had to wait for a shower. Laundry facilities on site and a short 3 minute drive and you're in town. If you are not up for driving, there is a free town shuttle with a pickup location at the entrance to the camp. Clean tent camp sites that are well spaced apart. Quiet with mature shade trees to cover your tent during the day with the calming sound of wind through the trees at night. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. A truly family owned and operated business that makes you feel welcomed and at home.

Picturesque with front row seats to the passing Durango - Silverton train and close to town. Stayed three nights. Clean, quiet and reasonably priced.

Campground is well kept.

Shower house was great.

Right on the narrow

railroad line which is fantastic.

I had a vehicle failure and had to go back home and get a different one.

I asked to get two more days of camping if there schedule would allow.

They worked it out and i do appreciate it very much.

Only negative i would ding them on is this.

The locks on the shower house are a pain in the butt. You need a light to see them and the locks are in my opinion junk.

I fought with one the other night for about 5 minutes.

(Replace the locks.)

Likely will be back.
