This place is top notch!. Matt , the owner, is here to serve and make campers’ stays very special. Wonderful bathrooms, outdoor group fireplace area, walking trail on the property…. Lovely views from spots 11 & 12. Hope to come back one day!

Definitely a winner! This is the cleanest campground we've ever seen! It was also exceptionally quiet, which we appreciated. We can see this being a popular campground in the summer due to its close proximity to McPhee Reservoir. Dolores has a few restaurants and a great brewery, and is about a 5 minute drive. If you need anything else, Cortez is 10 minutes south and has everything. The online reservation system made sense and was easy to use; check in onsite was easy and friendly. We didn't check out the bathrooms, showers, or laundry facilities, but the dog park was large and clean. The complimentary wifi worked very well, we had no issues streaming. The spaces are wide and long, plenty of room between rigs; the premium spots offer even more space/privacy/trees/views and are worth the additional fee. This was a late season weekend trip to check out the area and decide if it will become a regular spot for us and for our visitors. We will definitely be back!

The wife and I are avid tent campers. We went for the eclipse. Our friends that we were meeting there had RVs. The wife wanted to do the Glamping. It was worth the extra cost. The tent was as nice as an upscale hotel. Great mattress, bedding and towels. Microwave, small fridge and electric kettle with coffee bags and all the accoutrements. The heater kept the tent in the mid 50s the first night we were there when the low was 24 degrees. The staff and owners are very friendly. This is the best campground I have stayed at. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful campground! We’ll be looking for an opportunity to come back. The owners are friendly, helpful, and clearly take a lot of pride in their business. Even though we were in our RV and had full hookups, I checked out the bathrooms and they were the nicest cleanest campground restrooms I’ve ever seen! I very much enjoyed the walking trail and fire pit area, and when I was in the RV, I really appreciated the WiFi. We were there for several days and even though it was fully booked Friday night because of the eclipse it was still quiet and relaxing. Side note, the morning of the eclipse we went to the common area where everyone was gathered and the owners had a fire going and eclipse glasses for everyone, which was nice for us because we didn’t have glasses of our own and it was chilly. We were in the area for work but we took a day to go to Mesa Verde and it was very cool. I look forward to coming back with the family next year.
