What a beautiful place! It's secured with gated entry, they enforce rules so there are no obnoxious shenanigans, the bathrooms/showers and laundry are pristine. We camped by the water, could not have been more lovely. The little store sells ice and little grocery stuff, very convenient.
This is our new yearly place. We visited in September of 22, and have a trip planned for this June. The park is beautiful, peaceful and such a great place to relax, I am thankful for the quiet and dark hours, it allows you to see the stars and enjoy the sounds of the river. We bring our fur children along, and use our portable pet fence to give them off leash time. Everyone is super friendly and helpful when checking in and making reservations. We can't wait to come back in a couple weeks, and will make sure to get the cinnamon rolls this time. This place is just a relaxing oasis, no better way to describe it!
This place is absolutely beautiful. The office staff were so friendly. We had a spot along the river and I can’t wait to come back. It’s definitely a popular place with no empty sites! They have free firewood for everyone. Also, the Oreo ice cream blizzard is a must try on a warm summer day!
