Big Cimarron Campground stretches along the Big Cimarron River with sites shaded by a mix of Spruce and Cottonwood trees. There are 10 campsites with about half of the sites adjacent to the river. The campground is especially popular during hunting season. A horse corral across from the campground may be available if not being used by range permittees for ranching operation. There is no drinking water at this site, but water is available 2 miles south at the Silver Jack Campground. There are no close communities to get provisions so visitors need to bring everything they need. This is bear country. Please practice safe food storage techniques.

Very chill place to camp. And the workers do a great job with keeping it a chill place.
