Great RV park. Loved the sites that backup to the river! Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Free coffee / tea at the office. Great staff that escort you to your site and help you get situated if you need it. Laundry room was great. Very good location near restaurants and shopping if you need it. Loved visiting the museums nearby and Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

If you're looking for a place to park your RV for a bit while exploring the area it's the best option by far! It's right along the Uncompahgre River and part of the town's trail system (great for kayaking or biking), dog friendly, close to shopping, quick access to get out of town to the mountains, and by far the quietest RV campground location in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, the grounds are well kept, and the modern bathrooms are very clean. The few and occasional issues we had were typical of most RV parks and a result of the guests' actions, not the park's: some of the guests weren't always courteous when it came to idling engines (noise and exhaust fumes), observing quiet hours, picking up after/controlling pets, and respecting other's space. Those few things were so small compared to the vast majority of problems you find at most RV parks where deteriorating facilities, lack of rules, and messy grounds are the norm. This is seriously one of the best run and maintained campgrounds you'll find in Colorado.

Oh my goodness, what a find! We were searching for an RV park last minute and came across Riverbend RV Park. What a beautiful setting along the river. The property is very well manicured and maintained and the owners and staff friendly. The RV lots are appealing and not too close to your neighbor. They even have a dog park and you can easily walk or bike to a nice long trail system! We highly recommend Riverbend RV Park and will stay there again if in the area.
