11 sites, first come, first serve. $8/night, deposit in ranger fee envelope. Campground wasn't full 7/8. Some picnic tables are broken. There are some mosquitos. Lake is not well stocked for fishing, and some fishers were crippling their catch, throwing back for being too small, and they wind up being dead floaters.

Lovely lake we unexpectedly stumbled upon on our drive from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite as part of an epic Western US trip. The drive alone was breathtaking with razor sharp turns and amazing views and then this lake just sits perched at the top! A good spot to stop and enjoy the calming views

Quiet, clean pit toilets, a bit of data signal on the road

Beautiful scenery and the campsites are well maintained. Already can't wait to go back. Had a Bald Eagle sighting while we were there too. Highly recommend.
