It's a nice park. The bathrooms need some updating, but they are clean. Nice little play and beach are for the dogs to swim.
The sites are fairly close but are all flat and quite accessible with power. The bathrooms and showers are kept clean. Plenty of open, partially wooded space for picnicking and playgrounds near the large beach. We stayed at two adjacent sites for a weekend with our entire family and had a wonderful time. Burt Lake State Park is typical beautiful Michigan.
