This is a perfect place to stay if you want to take your bike to Mackinak Island. There is a trail at the back of the park and it is an easy 10 minute ride to the ferry. You can buy your tickets and bike pass here too. Also easy bike ride to many restaurants Staff is friendly and helpful. (Nolan!!) Convenient and clean laundry. Campground is well maintained. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it!

I went here during the summer and it was great, the workers are very friendly and always trying to help. The bike path is very fun to ride on. The only problem I have is they don’t want you to put anything up and

I put up my portable hammock, and they said to take it down .

We stayed here in September 2023.

Pretty campground. Our site was nice and level enough. Great service. The younger guy that led us to our site, made sure we were good. And the next day when we were waiting for a shuttle to the ferry, he saw us and gave us their number. Then later that day, he remembered us from the morning and asked if we ended up reaching the company with the shuttle. We were impressed.

All in all we really liked our stay here and would definitely recommend it.
