I really love this state park! There is so much to do outdoors here! Clean camping sites with fire pits to relax and cook, an 18 hole disc golf course, miles and miles of The Dragon bike trail (that remains super well maintained), a giant lake to swim and boat, and more!
Highly recommend and only about an hour or so from the Grand rapids area.
Beautiful camping site,
BUT the toilets are horrible 👎🏻
why cant they install a flushable toilets.
Thats the worst part otherwise it is recommended.
Went here earlier today, gorgeous park. Lots of parking in multiple spots plus many trails. Some are well-paved, some not, a great variety! I loved walking through, great wat to spend my morning. There's also a boat lunch, lots of bathrooms, picnic areas, beach area, and a playground. Paradise you can get lost in!
I went here for a solo 3-day vacation and it did not disappoint! Very quiet compared to other state parks I’ve visited. All of the other campers were very respectful and kind. The guy in the campground office was super chill and helpful. I will definitely be going back!
