Very beautiful campground indeed, the sites on the west side are nicely placed at the top of a hill so you get a very nice view. It is very unfortunate that you can't hang hammocks or anything for that matter on trees as it damages them. Rangers will come by and ask to have them taken down. Overall had an amazing time, make sure you hike down to Dudes Fishing Hole the nearby lake it's worth the half mile hike. Very clean and quite nice area highly recommended for for ages.

My 5 year old loves this campground (though he calls it dudes fishing hole, after his favorite hiking spot nearby). Some of the sites are really close together, but some are more isolated, so you can have a social or a solitary experience if you want (and the site you prefer is available). The campsite hosts are usually around and come by every morning to check out the sites. The bathrooms are decently convenient (pit toilets, no sink). There's water spigots pretty much at every cluster of campsites. We've pretty much only had good experiences here the half dozen times we've camped here, and it's now our go-to campground.

Really nice Campground. Some of the camping sites are a little ways away from parking but that can be a good and bad thing. Close to a few different hike and it was quite while we were there. Would definitely camp there again.

Some of the camp sites are on top of each other, sites 1 and 2, & 3 and 4. Are like that, there are a number of campsites like that throughout the 35 site at Aspen Meadows. It is $28 dollar a day site fee, $10 a day park pass, and fellow campers having to walk thru your campsite. Nice place to have a group, not so much individually. The national parks and forest have private sites and fewer fees tacked in. I can not say I will be back.

Beautiful park, terrible hosts. We arrived when it was raining and found our tent site flooded. We knocked on the hosts RV door to see if we could switch tent pads with a nearby empty site for the night or if they had any idea how to deal with the water in ours and they looked at us like we were disturbing them. They sent us to the other campsite to talk to park staff about switching (even though it was after hours and they should have known the facility would be closed). They then went back into their RV leaving us to figure out what to do in the pouring rain. Probably the rudest camp hosts we’ve ever met.

We spent the next hour “sweeping” water out of our tent pad, getting water and mud everywhere in the freezing cold, and then woke up the next day with our tent sitting in the reformed puddle. We left the next morning a day early.

The park is lovely but the experience was awful. Not worth the money. Expect no help or empathy whatsoever from the hosts if you come here.
