Great sandy beach area that the kids can play on. We camped at site #3 which sits at the top of the hill and it had a trail straight to the lake. It does get busy so you gotta get there early to claim your spot on the beach.
Not a bad place to camp. Right next to the water. Not much privacy between campsites however. I could hear the neighbors snoring in their tents lol. $15 per night plus $7 per day park fee. Potable water was onsite as well as vault toilet.
I absolutely loved this spot!! It was nice to set up a hammock by the lake and have a nice picnic by the water. This was definitely a gem of a place that I’d definitely be back to explore.
The views are impressive and the sites are well laid out. All have picnic tables and fire rings with drive-through capabilities. The one drawback would be the lack of electricity at these sites. (My reason for ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ instead of five.)
Otherwise, they're lovely sites with easy accessibility ♿️ and all have a few trees for nice shade.
