Stayed here for a few months because choices are slim and price was decent. Had my pet there for 4 days and he charged me for the whole month after I had discussed it with him and he said he would waive the pet fees. Manager picks and chooses who he wants to enforce the rules on. All spaces are dirt spots and not a dollar has been invested in years. Good monthly rate if you don’t plan on spending any time outside of your rig while you’re there.

Very clean. Location perfect. Close to everything, but far enough away for quiet at night.

We were our way from Tucson AZ to Sturgis SD and had been incredibly delayed by a huge hail storm that broke all our RVs skylights. I had called ahead to reserve a spot and the owner had asked that I let him know if we wouldn’t make it by he time the office closed. After taping up the skylights we called to let him know we wouldn’t be there until around 9:30 so the owner gave us instructions to find our spot. We had a few more minor setbacks and ended up not arriving until around 11:30. As soon as we pulled in he came out to greet us, lead us to our site, and made sure we were able to get hooked up ok. He had waited up for us to make sure we wouldn’t have trouble finding our site! Where do you find courtesy and kindness like that anymore!? This place deserves 5 stars for that alone, but it’s also right off the road, and pretty easy to see while driving. The sites are bigger than lots of other places, and the wildflowers are beautiful.

As soon as we turned the corner we had a feeling we made a mistake. This is the worst campground I’ve ever been to in 55 years worth of camping. Attendant or owner must smoke in the office. It was horrible. Pool? Empty and weeds a foot high coming out of the concrete. Sites are tight and dirty. Trash everywhere and sewer smell was overpowering. Very unkempt grounds. Cactus in the dogs feet and goat head thorns stepped on. Price was wayyyyyy over what it was worth. Don’t do it.
