We had booked a Harvest Hosts farm for June 1st but a storm passed through on May 31st which made the road treacherous so we called Wray Hitching Post and found they had a site available. So glad we found this campground. Very clean, well maintained campground and very nice owners. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through. Would have stayed longer if we could.
A small, basic place to park your RV for a short time. We were in a pull through which was a gravel parking lot with full hook ups. No picnic tables or firepit. There are some seasonal or permanent campers, but not very many. Nothing to see as far scenery. During our stay it was a bit loud with a few people partying but they quieted down after 10 PM. During my particular stay, there was a problem with a septic smell outside near our spot. The owners did fix it after we left. Good price for full hook up. Never met the owners and communicated via text was efficient and friendly.
Very nice RV Campground. I had a pull through spot with my 16 foot travel trailer. When I got here I looked for the office to register and to pay. Didn't see one. So I called the phone number. I got a response very quickly and was told to pick a site from the board that said was open and fill out the envelope and put in either cash or a check. So I picked site 9 and filled out the envelope then went to unhook my trailer.
The spot I picked I could have put in 3 or squeezed 4 of my travel trailer in.
The laundry and restroom/shower areas were spotless. Wifi is nice and fast.
The campground is gravel but with A/C who cares?
There is a bit of road noise but not enough to bother me.
I initially stayed for 2 days but extended for an additional day.
