The gentleman running the place is great. Very friendly and helpful. That said, the location is very close to a superhighway with the commensurate level of noise. The grounds themselves could use a gradind and a few loads of gravel. Not that you can't level up, but drainage is very poor.
Good stop for a quick overnight. They put us in a pull-through full hook-up site. Made it super easy since we didn’t have to unhook the trailer—made for a quick and easy departure. Nothing fancy, but clean, convenient and very reasonably priced. As a plus, there was a disc golf course a 10-minute walk away.
Looks nicer in pictures than it actually is. Lady in the office is very nice, but RV spots are not very level and roads are very rough and uneven. Bathrooms are not locked, open to anyone. Price is good, about $25/night. Would not stay here again.
I stayed two nights. The gentleman who greeted me was pleasant and came down to make sure there were no problems at the site. There is no cable TV andbthe Wi Fi stopped working. It had snowed a couple of days before and was melting. It was pretty muddy and wet. The campground is very noisy due to highways on both sides. I did get a chance to visit the Cadillac Graveyard. I would stay here again if I am ever back this way.
You get what you pay for….an ok RV park for an overnight stay while in travel. Resort? Not by any stretch of the imagination. It's a large dirt RV park next to a busy highway and filled with long term renters. The spot I was in was level for my size rig. Wifi was unusable last night and I switched to my hot spot. I couldn't even check email. This morning the network was less burdened and usable. The upside of the park is that it's fairly inexpensive. The downsides are NOISE….truck jake brakes, kids racing cars and train noise all night long, bathroom at about a 2-3 out 5 in cleanliness, and workers coming and going throughout the night in diesel trucks, alarms and all the rest that goes along with workers living in 5th wheels and doing shift work. Case in point…it's about 0530 in the morning and currently there are about a dozen trucks in the park either idling or revving their motors. I'm sitting here listening to the guy's diesel truck next to me, about 20' away, idling for the last half hour. It does help drown out some of the highway noise though…Lol. This all started at about 0300 or at least that's when it woke me up even though I had ear plugs in. Again, if you're looking for a resort type park or have children, this isn't it.
