We bought this property almost 20 years ago wanting to build our dream. Building the road, carving out RV spots, and completing the commonground/ bathhouse has been an amazing journey. Sharing this space - Now with our authentic Tipi (glamping style) & getting ready for the next phase creating a stage for hosting music festivals - will fulfill our dream!
3Feather Sanctuary is surrounded by beautiful, stately trees and a creek meanders through the property.
Nearby local attractions like: The Appalachian Trail, Hot Springs & downtown Marshall are just 20 minutes away! There are countless opportunities for stunning hikes, kayaking and white water rafting opportunities only 20 minutes away. Our property is about an hour away from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the adorable city of Asheville - which makes for a fantastic day trip with delicious restaurants, breweries, cool shops, and more! The Great Smokey Mountains and Deep Creek are about 1.5 hours away from the campsite. There is something for everyone to enjoy and we can't wait to share it with you!

We absolutely loved our stay at 3feather. It is a beautiful place right beside a creek. The owners are so friendly and helpful through everything. It is a great place to reconnect with nature and yourself! I highly recommend 3feather to anyone looking for a peaceful quiet place! It provides a unique experience you won’t find at larger campgrounds!
Loved my extended stay at 3 Feather! The raw beauty of the land, running stream, swimming hole, big trees and outdoor movies! An extremely nice bathhouse. For a treat come stay at their teepee, it is amazing. The owners were extremely nice and helpful.
3 Feather Sanctuary is just that, a sweet little hide away.
The hosts, Laura and Chris, are are no less phenomenal. Not only is their property beautiful and serene, but the grounds and bathhouse are clean and welcoming.
Laura and Chris made us feel right at home and are kind, caring, and helpful.
When we found ourselves in a difficult situation, they were very quick to offer support and guidance…going above and beyond as hosts. Such amazing humans and fortunate to know them.
My son and I decided to do a last minute camping night. I had found 3feather Sanctuary a little while ago. It was very peaceful. We absolutely loved it. The bath house that they have is the best i have ever seen when camping. We have decided that we will come back here when ever we go camping.
Great bathhouse and shower set up! Also good to have wifi. Host was very responsive to change site since original spot was right next to road and there was a decent amount of traffic and noise. Negatives were all the cameras that watched us the entire time. Sites were also over grown with weeds and trash. Old chewed up dog balls, cigarette butts, and dog poop on the property. Fly bags were filled and need to be emptied also. We were happy with having the place to ourselves and it was very peaceful. Owner just needs to do some maintenance and disclose all the cameras. There was a large fallen tree that also looks to be a potential hazard.
