Love coming here with my family. Best time to come is real early to get a good spot 😁
It's a nice place to go camping, quiet relaxing everything they offer is good there.
We went on a Saturday around 1pm,line was already long at the entrance. It took us 30 mins to get in and paid our fees which was $20 for a day use. The location where we at was on south drive next to Muir point campground near the Duck cove. We stayed to watched the sunset and also able to capture the strawberry moon which I thought was just a regular fullmoon. It was a lovely evening to spend such a relaxing time with friends and family.
They should really dredge the reservoir, but overall we always enjoy our stay!! Only ever had one bad experience, but not the county's fault. We have specific spots we prefer and can book ahead of time.
Woodward reservoir. Fischer point, dry camping, Site 18. (No Hook ups)
Great spot. Easy to back in, my 33ft travel trailer. Did have to level side to side. Tow vehicle fit next to the trailer with room to spare.
There are a few water spigots throughout the camp. luckily18 has one.
Went Nov 3-5. Out of 32 available camp spots, only 3 campers there. Myself included. Nice and quiet.
