We had a great time here. We rented 3 cabins and had family as young as 4 and as old as 92. All had a great time and will definitely return. The views are amazing and the stargazing is wonderful. Campground seem busy and full but there was plenty of space at the pool.

If I’d seen it first, no way I’d have booked it.First, we booked this 10 months in advance. Rate was $89.50 night, with our reservation in front of him tries to charge us $114.50 night! Also, said our original deposit of $112.61 which was clearly on my paperwork from 10 months ago, didn’t look right. He had that amount wrong trying to charge us well over $150 more than the balance we actually owed. He said he would honor what we were sent 10 months ago but that he wanted to give us a good spot (which we’d already paid for the best they had) and that their rates had gone up. I still can’t see on their site where any 50 amp, full service, pull through sites are $114.50 night.

Now, the campsites. They are all gravel/dirt and well it’s in the mountains so all are uneven. Getting your rig level is a challenge. We did have a little shade so that helped with the sun. The bathroom facilitates could definitely use updating and a good cleaning, especially the showers. Thankfully, we have our own. The washers and dryers all worked and I know you can’t control how people leave them but you can come around and clean. All of the dryer vents were clogged with lint and debris and it’s a wonder they hadn’t caught on fire. The folding table was so dirty I had to bring in Clorox wipes and paper towels to clean it before I could fold my laundry.

The Game room was pitiful. Don’t let your kids go there. Hasn’t been updated since 1984. Broken pool sticks, dirty. And there’s an old mini golf that has been overgrown for about 15 years. I think the pool may be good. Several kiddos seemed to be enjoying that while we were there. We were busy with other activities and didn’t have time for it. All in all for $89 a night or whatever they are charging, it’s a bit high. This is not a deluxe, nice KOA with a lot of amenities. It’s very difficult to find, rustic and out-dated. Wished we’d found somewhere further north in the Redwood area.

This place is beautiful, it was a quiet weekend so just got to enjoy the warm weather and the beautiful atmosphere. You can go fishing in the pond, catch and release. The showers and bathrooms are clean, and the workers are very friendly, and will help out with anything they can. This is my third time here and it will continue to be a favorite.

We're staying here on our first ever RV trip, and I really like the campsite. All of our hookups are conveniently located, and each site has a fire pit and bbq.

The pool is minimalist but looks serviceable. I'd say that's a good combination of adjectives for most of the amenities here.

It's quiet, so far without any rowdy guests.

Overall a pleasant place to stay in a beautiful part of California.

What a great customer service experience! Nick went above and beyond to make sure we picked a great tent spot. Very clean, lots of shade, room and privacy. They are thoughtful enough to make sure that you aren't stacked close next to other sites. Quite time was followed by all campers. The office staff was very accommodating. The pond area is very cute, Adirondack chairs all around and picnic tables. The pool is a nice size along with a spa area separate away from the pool. The scenery is beautiful.
