Opened in 2004, this membership-only, LGBTQIA+ camping resort, exclusively for the 18-and-older crowd, is located on 161 private acres with streams, a four-acre lake, and spacious campsites.
We have a variety of sites for seasonal campers, trailers, and popup campers, as well as tent camping. We are Big Rig friendly with many pull through sites, wide entrance roads and up to 50 amp electric. There are also cabins and tiny homes available for short-term rental.
Amenities include a huge camp store, dance club, restaurant, free wi-fi, a huge pool area, volleyball courts, hiking trails, 7 bathroom facilities and loads of planned activities!

Wish there was a 20 star option… 5 isn’t nearly enough. As the organizer of TickleCon, I had the pleasure of hosting our event at The Woods Campground, and I cannot express enough how amazing our experience was. The Woods, with its beautiful surroundings and exceptional staff, provided the perfect atmosphere for our gathering.
First and foremost, the natural beauty of The Woods is simply breathtaking. The serene woods, picturesque trails, and tranquil lake create a peaceful and rejuvenating environment. It's a place where you can truly connect with nature and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
What truly sets The Woods apart is its commitment to inclusivity and acceptance. The staff at The Woods, from the moment we arrived, made it abundantly clear that everyone is welcome and respected. The GLBTQIA community and allies alike are embraced with open arms. It's a safe haven where diversity is celebrated, and individuality is cherished.
The staff at The Woods went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Their warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like part of their extended family. F Disney this is the best place on earth if you are a gay man looking for a sense of acceptance, community and a good time look no further this OZ in the woods has no yellow brick road but sure is full of magic! Can't wait to go next year
5 Stars Because 6 is not a choice. The staff are all attentive to your needs and go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful! Service is superior to any five star resorts.
Many campgrounds I have gone to are not as well kept or have the most polished accommodations for Cabin renters, Tenters and Trailers alike. They also have awesome entertainment! Always a BLAST! I recommend checking it out for yourself, join the party! LGBTQ+++
Such a great moment! Amazing service, friendly people, great value for the price! Extremely well organized and the entertainment on weekend is quite outstanding. Loved the pool and the cabin all over the site and enjoy the daily communication push from their app everyday! It’s a well “oiled machine”! The best public bathroom/shower I have seen in any camping I went. Will definitely go back!
The only “downsides” is that I find the look of some sites and the entrance “overflow” a bit sketchy. But I guess the management is encouraging the sense of community over the overall look which make me appreciate the place even more! Bravo again and thank you for being so welcoming with French Canadian tourists!
