Located in the heart of the Pocono Mountains, our campground features many family friendly activities onsite and close by. Explore our site to find out about the many features offered, amenities and local attractions.
Much of the natural design of the land has been retained which makes for a beautifully wooded campground with most sites surrounded by a small grove of trees. 50 acres of beauty, our campground sits at the base of the Dixon Miller Recreation Area (Elevation 2212ft) which is one of the highest accessible points overlooking the Pocono Plateau.
From jct I-80 & SR 115 (exit 284): Go 5-1/2 mi S on SR 115.
Very nice and peaceful campground. The cabin we got was spacious. It gets a bit chilly at night so bring extra blankets. I wish the washrooms/bathrooms were closer to some of the cabins towards the middle area. Great for children or first-time campers
We came for the rainy weekend on a motorcycle and with a tent. Everything turned out amazing even with a storm. We absolutely loved the grounds. Very clean pool exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers. The staff went above and beyond. Most friendliest and welcoming place we’ve been! We love it and will be back!
Peaceful Woodlands Family Campground is a wonderful family owned and operated campground. My first impressions were wonderful, Denise assisted me with my reservation on the phone, she was very kind and polite as she answered all my questions. Upon arrival, I was greeted with kindness and hospitality by 3 ladies, which included Denise and Nicki, who thanked me for my military service and oriented me to all the activities and resources on the campground. These people are so kind, that after realizing I had forgotten to bring the table, Nick allowed me to borrow one of his for the weekend. The campgrounds were very clean and well maintained. There was a band, bingo, an ice cream social, and much more over the course of the weekend. We stayed in one of their new cabins. The cabins and the grounds were very clean and low maintained. The night was quiet peaceful. I highly recommend this wonderful wooded family and pet friendly campground.
My family and I stayed over this past Father’s Day weekend. We are a pretty large group so we chose their group campsite called the Squirrel’s Nest. I cannot say enough good things about this campground!! The owners were fantastic; so sweet and accommodating. The campsite was clean and well kept, the bathrooms were immaculate. The store was well stocked and prices were very reasonable. The littles enjoyed the free mini golf, and the adults borrowed corn hole from their store for the weekend which was also free. This was the most relaxing camping trip we have had in quite a while. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Denise and family for a wonderful weekend!! 😊
