While it is very little known, Wildcat Park has some of the most scenic and extraordinary hiking for hundreds of miles around. Within minutes of the trailhead, sandstone bluffs and cliff-faces are found in a pristine location and condition. For individuals or groups looking to gain a quick escape to a naturally beautiful area, Wildcat offers one of the best scenic retreats in central Wisconsin.

Wildcat Mound is found in the heart of Wildcat Park. To find Wildcat Park, please navigate to the location labeled on this website and look for "Wildcat Mound". It's a very peaceful park, it doesn't seem like a lot of people come out to it. There are so many breathtaking views and an abundance of wildlife down every path. The park almost has a rustic atmosphere. There's no power but there is a portapoty and a docking station if you have atvs. Personally I don't like the setup for the docking station, it has a very steep incline that can make loading your ATV into your truck kind of difficult. The ATV trails link to Jackson county and Clark county from the campground if I remember right.
Great place to visit! Hiking in the fall is amazing. The restrooms were clean and had hand sanitizer in them. I saw a lot of dogs that were friendly. Here is a picture of the moon coming up over the horizon of the park. What a great time!
My daughter loves hiking here. I'd say it started her love of hiking š„¾
