Oktoberfest was fun! Beautiful campground, very clean and the staff is very friendly. Awesome bar and a huge menu. We already booked for next year.
Fun and safe! Abide by the 11pm quiet time which is great for people with kids. I was initially worried about going somewhere on an ATV trail with a bar. It ended up being a non issue. The owner does a great job of making you feel welcome and keeps the place going well! Lots of activities to do here as well and you get coupons with your wristband!
Since new ownership this place has gone down hill. Seasonal residents told me that they were subject to a 10% rate increase with no updates to the facility. We had been coming here for years but will not support any longer. If you have any sort of atv/utv vehicles please make sure you are in a designated camping spot. For the first time this weekend, we were forced to leave because management placed us in a non atv/utv site even with knowing we had them. There is a spot on the website to check and pay for when booking. It's not like we just showed up with them. Pineland is not an atv/utv friendly establishment. We were told that our off road equipment had to be parked on the other side of the campground next to the road. As Ive had stuff stolen before, this was unacceptable. Management told us to leave since we were not ok with the "rules". Please do your research before booking if you're looking at this place as a way to ride the trails. You will be disappointed. New ownership does not care about customer service...only profits. This place will change hands again because of this. Mark my words!
This is the perfect place to take your kids. So much to do! Food was great, the camper we rented was great. The people we met were awesome!! We will be back 100 percent!!
This was a nice campground with a pool and bikes the kids could ride. They have a bar in the campground to which had a band in the outdoor area when I was there. There seemed to be a lot of rules like having family members pay to get in a drop your child off. My parents drove 2.5 hrs and I was told I had to get my child by the office because they couldn’t drive back and visit without paying a fee. Which I would understand if they were using a facility but they would of liked a little break from driving. There are a bunch of other rules in the book that you may want to pay attention to though they didn’t seemed to be enforced. Overall I enjoyed my stay and had fun and the people were friendly. Just the visitors fee gets me.
