Nice sites. Good rate for tents. Not primitive but overall quiet campground. Lake has good fishing and better for just cruising in a kayak. Nice private campground sandy beach. Bring your bug spray tho!! Plenty bathrooms and even has staff on hand durning business hours with a concession room in the office. Parking passes required. 2 vehicles per site.
One of my favorite places to rent kayaks. Prices are fair, and the lake has an excellent path to it. They also have two-person kayaks and canoes. We have also camped here, and it’s always been peaceful and great Park Rangers!
Great place to camp. The D loop does have water and electric sites that are near the dock and dam. I would recommend bringing your own wood. The wood we purchased from the office was very wet. The playgrounds near the campsites need some work. Overall we had a great stay.
We stayed a couple of nights over Memorial weekend and everything was good. This is a clean and well kept campground. Glad to see the new welcome office and that the campground is kept up year after year. We stayed with our camper in a nonelectric site so we could, for the first time, try dry docking and everything went great. The bathhouse and restrooms were clean and very nice. Great walking paths and sunsets. Best place for kayaking and pond fishing.
