Lovely park in the driftless area located right by one of the best rivers to paddle in Wisconsin. Great camping, clean restrooms and awesome staff. I make the effort to come here once a year.

Beautiful tent sites along the edge of the mountain. Plenty of distance and screening between the sites. Friendly, helpful staff. This is one of my favorite state parks, because it's small, remote, and on top of a mountain with great views. Also, it's close to several bike trails and paddling on the Kickapoo River with a launch within the park property.

Nice all around. Good for hiking on long trails. 2 things, bring cash to buy wood. They do not accept card, and some areas of the trails need better signs to indicate where you are in the middle sections. Otherwise, great experience!

A really nice park that I had not heard of until I decided to give it a try for camping this summer. Very happy with my decision, the campground sits on top of a large hill/bluff with some fabulous views of the surrounding area including the beautiful driftless area farmland. The campsites, bathrooms and others facilities are fine. There is a nice playground my son enjoyed. Very close to Ontario, WI where there are multiple options for renting canoes and kayaks to float the Kickapoo which I recommend you do.
