Exit I-90 at Exit 147, Hwy N. Go south on Hwy N, then turn west on Koshkonong Road, turn south on Door Creek Road. It is approximately 4 miles from the freeway exit to the park. There are signs to direct you at every intersection.
It's a great place. Small state park campground with a beautiful lake.A beach, hiking/biking trail. You can see a eagle's nest as you walk or ride on the park's road. Really nice areas for the you to have a picnic and a playground for the children with a lake view. Love this state park.
Great spot for kids to explore and walk. Includes hiking, 2 playgrounds, bathrooms, boat rentals, campground, and fishing spots from shore.
Nice park. I hiked the prairie and White oak tails. Very pretty. Unfortunately my campfire got rained out and I was so wet in the morning (leaky tent) that I bailed on second night. I'll go back though. Saw 4 deer and a Flicker.
Absolutely stunning state park! Bathrooms are nicest state park bathrooms I have ever been in and I've been in A LOT. Sites are really nice! Beach isn't massive but there is a nice pet beach that's really cute! We will definitely be returning :)
