My friend and I had an amazing week at the ranch. It's located in a beautiful area with lots to explore. We did three horse back rides and could have done many more. The food was great and the hosts and their team are exceptional people. We felt very welcome and at home (kinda didn't want to leave). There were guests from all over the world visiting which made it very special. I'd like to give a special thanks to Cochise for the enjoyable rides - he's a good horse and loves his carrots. Thanks so much Wilson Family!! We'll be back!
Our hostess Shantelle proved to be an outstanding cook and knowledgeable guide up in the hills chasing cows, wow she can ride! I signed up with my buddy for a bucket list "cowboy experience". For "True Grit" I expected more interaction with the horses dressing and undressing, feeding and brushing.
Not that he can read, but hats of to Clancy a great horse for work. He wanted to be out front all day and was sure no one else knew what was going on. Huge heart had my trust from my first sit in the saddle. Morgan also gave great direction on our quest to move cows to fall pasture. Brett was our guide for the second day two hour ride, he killed a rattle snake before our horses knew it was there.
Serious consideration for return stay next summer. Sam
Beautiful spot, wonderful people who work there and take care of you...best breakfast going, and wonderful company. Best elk trip...no tags and no guns...almost perfect. The folks that own and operate this place are the "real deal." Looking forward to next years "hunt."
Great experience at the Ranch for me and my 3 friends. Thanks to Kara and her husband. The breakfast was very good and the horseback ride memorable. Hope to come back !
A wonderful "middle of nowhere" retreat. Peaceful and quiet. Wilson Ranch was our "home" for 3 nights of a family reunion retreat. We reserved the entire home and RV space. Everything was perfect. Amazing delicious country breakfasts, horse riding, beautiful large lawn for games. Everyone had a great time.
