From Jct of I-84 & Arlington Exit (137), N 1.1 mi on Arlington Port Rd (L)
I've camped here before (motorcycle travel / tent). I won't again.
I checked a couple weeks beforehand, was assured that the rest rooms and showers would be open. Sept. 20 - I pulled in, in the late afternoon... rest rooms were locked with signs taped on the doors: USE THE PORTA-POTTY OUT BACK. Even the water fountains on the side were shut off... I hope the water out of the hose by the boat ramp was "potable."
As for the porta-potty - it looked like was a week or two past the "service date"... AWFUL! And just cardboard tubes where the toilet paper once lived.
I'm not fussy - when you're traveling by motorcycle, comfort and luxury can be elusive. But this was a total disappointment. And not many nearby camping alternatives, a half-hour before the sun goes down.
This place might be all right in a trailer or motorhome... I'll look elsewhere on my next motorcycle trip.
I have right decided to take an exit for taking a break from the long drive.
I love the port of Arlington. I84 goes over the town so you can easily walk from the port into the charming town.
Loud with the railroad and the freeway but very cozy RV park with a marina.
