About Campground

Bull Prairie has been a gem to the local community and is considered a beautiful woodsy place to enjoy a vacation, host family reunions or social events, and to extensively recreate. This moderate-sized campground is located adjacent to a 28- acre lake, Bull Prairie Lake (stocked annually with trout). There are family-friendly and wheelchair accessible paved paths along the lake that are designed for people who enjoy morning jogs, bicycle rides, picnicking, and leisure. While this campground offers potable water (06/16/2020 potable water shut off for the season), there is no longer any garbage service, so please pack out all garbage and dispose of it at home. The campground is located near the Morrow/Grant County OHV Park. ATV riding is not allowed at Bull Prairie Campground.

We have always loved this campground, but now that the hosts Heather and Jody took over the experience is even better. The park is so clean and they take pride in keeping it up and visiting with and getting to know the visitors.

Bull Prairie campground was amazing!! Camp host Heather and Jody are two hard working couple. They take pride in what they do. They are so helpful. Provided us free firewood. Yes free firewood for guests. The 2.5 hr drive to campground was so worth it. We stayed at campsite #21. It was big with 2 tables, a cool fire pit , lots of shade. Lake has trout for fishing. Camp had water available as well. Lake is great to go floating with tubes !! Coming back for sure. Thanks for everything! -Aguilar Family

A lovely little oasis in the hills - what a pleasant surprise after driving all day in the hot desert sun. The campground was incredibly well taken care of. Immaculate bathrooms and spacious, private campsites. The camp host Jodie was very friendly & accommodating, he brought us free firewood and even started our fire for us. The lake has a paved path all the way around and lots of docks with benches, great for sunset watching with beer or sunrise watching with coffee. We're so happy to have stumbled upon this campground, cannot recommend it enough!

Great place to camp. Very comfortable and clean. Hosts are courteous and considerate, with good answers to all our questions. We packed our double site as it was a family campout and were very happy. Our family will definitely be back to Bull Prairie, and that's no bull!

Excellent CG, fantastic CG host's. Oasis in the desert. We stayed during the week in the summer, went to see the painted hills and John Day River and dirt bike riding at Morrow County OHV. Lots of wild life like birds, cows, and deer. Good stuff. Definitely coming back.
