RV sites have hookups for water and electricity. Tents can be placed in RV sites, at the RV site rate.
Primitive sites are first come, first served and DO NOT have water or electric hookups.
All camping stays require a permit. Typically, a permit placard and/or parking pass will be installed at the RV site prior to your arrival. In cases where a reservation is made after hours or weekend, be prepared to show your email confirmation should you be asked by a City Official or Police.
My days there Was wonderful and the place is so beautiful. The staff was very friendly and Kindle and algo helpful. If I need a place for overnight stay in that town Willow Grove Park will be #1.
Love this park. Spent a lot of my teenage years here in 2010-2011. Wow, it definitely has changed. It used to be pretty empty back in those days. Now you have to pay $5.00 to go inside to walk it. I think you pay $10.00 to camp, but I'm not sure.
Lots of people camping and enjoying the park. I took my dog on a walk and enjoyed it a lot. I saw a mom heron and her babies in a really tall tree, a cute fuzzy catapillar, and lots of friendly locals. Glad to know that hasn't changed. ☺️
So much fun and beautiful... it was quiet and serene I just wish there was a shower like other camp grounds but other than that absolutely nice... will visit again
Have gone camping here about three times now and have always had a good time! The sites are good and the views of the lake are beautiful. Trails are also nice but could use a little work. The restrooms as well could use a good deep cleaning. But besides that it was peaceful and quiet and we had a fun time!!
If you live in Lake Dallas, just go up to city hall, and they'll get you a park acces code so you don't have to pay to get in! My kids love the ship park/ playground and trail access!
