I stayed on the lake in a tent. Their computer system renders them unable to send confirmation to your email so you best note the confirmation number when making reservations. The park itself is nice but I found the bathhouse to be absolutely disgusting. They dont clean it, they put a piece of aluminum aircraft tape on the roof to keep it from leaking although it still leaks. The shower nozzles all had a tiny stream with luke warm water and no pressure. The fire pit was full of ash and the grill was cracked. You would think that for $50 per night the city would do better. The traffic noise is pretty noticeable but it was really quiet otherwise. Other campers were respectful and quiet. I was thankful for the strict admittance to the park and comfortable leaving things at my campsite unattended. Hopefully they can get those shower houses torn down and rebuilt and it wouldnt be so bad.

We had a fantastic time out at Loyd Park this weekend! Beautiful campsite, spacious, shaded, well kept. Huge, peaceful, wooded campground with miles of road to bike ride on. The beach was clean and nice - and the water was so relaxing to float. We visited the camp store and sat on the porch rocking chairs to eat ice cream. It was our first visit to camp there but it won't be the last! We are already planning a return visit!

The front attendant was friendly and helped us quickly!

There was tons of room, loads of bathrooms and everything is well maintained.

the trails were perfect to take a stroller and dog on!

The playground was massive and well maintained as well! Will definitely be back if we have time.

We absolutely love this park and have been back 4 times now. I was hesitant to post a good review, because I wanted to keep it low-key, but it's awesome.

The hiking trails are nicely kept up, and the scenery is second to none.

We like how far apart the rv spaces are and each one has a nice little gazebo.

The rv spots are paved, not the best, but at least they are paved. Never had any issues with the connections and we always have good wifi within the park.

All the people are friendly, both employees and guests. The police patrol through regularly and it gives a nice safe feeling.

There is a big grocery and shopping center about 3 miles away, yet you feel like you are super secluded in the park. Lots of wildlife throughout.

We will be returning several more times this year.

This is our first stay and I'm disappointed. We booked online and got there to check in and they told us it was an additional $10 a day. Ok whatever, but then she giggles and goes yeah we put in in tiny print when you check out. Great. Now I'm upset add to that we get to the spot and the breaker box is so bad I'm to scared to plug our rig in, so solar it is! This park is not worth the $35 a night for 30 amp and water only.
