Great park! Clean bathrooms, with plenty of places to set up for a great day at the lake. You do have to pay to get in, but it's worth it, no crowds, plenty of places to get in the water, and you can rent kayaks and paddle boards.

Pilot Knoll is one of my favorite camping spots. All the sites are clean, and you can see the lake. The staff has ALWAYS been helpful and nice. Highly recommend if you can grab a spot. Easy access to the lake from most campsites.

This park is city owned and loved by the locals. The campsite parking spots are long, which makes for room for your camper plus two cars. Many campers also parked their boat on site as well. If interested in floating in the water, keep in mind that the lower numbered spots on the water put you right in the cove. We had spot 32; here are a few pics of our beautiful views. This is our new favorite local spot.

Very nice park, paid online and had fully automated checkin. Wood vending machine right behind the entry gate. Bathroom and shower were better than most public parks, just the usual insects you’d expect when outside. Most patrons were RV camping, but we just did tent camping. We were able to run a regular extension cord to our tent from the power hookups.
