Relax in the country the duration of your stay or head into town and enjoy the best burger in North Texas at the Windmill Grill or some delicious BBQ and live music at Red River Station. Take a scenic drive to the vineyards in Saint Jo and enjoy the beautiful hillside views with a glass of wine. Be sure to make reservations for dinner at Prime Cut in Montague and find a treasure to take home at one of our area shops and boutiques.
The sunsets at Summers' Place are spectacular and the camping experience was great. We enjoyed the peace and quiet along with the beautiful views. It was the perfect escape from the city. We will most definitely return.
Summers’ Place was just WONDERFUL! The owner was so very nice and their booking specialist was amazing and super informative. While I was at Summers’ place i enjoyed the amenities and the beautiful scenery. The longhorns were so cool, the sunsets and the greenery (trees / grass / hills) I will definitely be visiting Summers’ Place for times to come and recommending it to everyone I know! We stayed 7 days in the RV area and loved it!
The owner was there to let us in, as the gate stays locked at all times.
Owner Derrick went above and beyond to welcome us and personally directed us to one of about 50 sites with 30 or 50 Amp full hook up.
Later that night he came by and took us on a tour of this beautiful 800 acre or more property!
We came into St Jo for a show at a local BBQ place and Summers Place is just 5 min. From town.
At Only 25$ a night (or you can get a weekly rate)you can't beat it! Would definitely come back!

We stayed in Alpha- and let me say just how fantastic it was. The decor was super cute, the bedding was incredibly comfy, the kitchen was so thoughtfully outfitted, and everything was just perfect. Christi was always available with a quick response and made sure our weekend was personalized and memorable. She even hung happy birthday banners knowing my birthday was coming up. Highly recommend!!
RWP this was an excellent weekend getaway with the family and enjoyed the Hill Country the manager was on site and checked on us when he saw us walking around he asked repeatedly if we needed anything, there was a fishing pole on the pier so we got some corn and we're able to catch some fish!!
