I have been staying here, every summer for the last 9 years. My husband grew up spending his summers here a kid. And we absolute love it!! We hate when it's that time to go home!! Dave & Jeff are amazing!! Always helping and doing what they can to make our stay as best as possible! We have an amazing time every year!! Everything is perfect!!

Friendly staff, place was very busy, people were happy & seemed comfortable. They showed us to our campsite and made sure we were all set before leaving. Supplied all directions and price was very easy on the bank. Well worth it, will be continuously camping at this location. Very pleased

This is a decent camp ground. I found my lot very spacious which was awesome.

My only ik was that I didn’t have US change for showers since I’m Canadian and the camp store wouldn’t tack on a buck to my credit card purchase to give me some. I was told to find a bank machine. Bring US change!!

There is a pool but I didn’t use it.

It is very close to lake Willoughby (about 2km) which is such a beautiful lake with super clear water and a white Sandy beach. There were some quaint snack bars and The Gap was the closest Resto/ pub ( see my review)

For a rainy day activity we drove to St Johnsbury which was a beautiful drive and a great place for a good coffee and a little walk around.

Overall we enjoyed our time at the Will-o-wood campground. There were a few issues during our stay though. As soon as we arrived, our power hook up kept popping and we had to use an alternate cord. The next morning I wanted a shower and apparently the hot water heater was out. Be prepared to pay for your showers. Bring quarters. The bath house was also not all that nice. One toilet barely flushed, the second was wet around the base the whole time and the 3rd had no lock on the door. This place is pet friendly and the majority of the sites were pretty private. The pool was nice and the playground was great.

We camped in a tent with 3 adults 2 golden retrievers. The owner was more than friendly on the phone they accommodated us like family! They had quite a few dogs we told

Them our dogs didn’t get along because they’ve previously been attacked by an aggressive dog and they accommodated our campsite 🏕️ but secluding us from other dogs. The camp sites are very large compared to most other places we’ve camped. Bathrooms/ showers cleaned always stocked with soap/paper. Trash bag given for all trash dumpster out front . General store has a large stock of anything you might have forgotten.
