The owner’s customer service was outstanding. Vermont was hit with so much rain and they worked really hard to keep things dry and clean. The surrounding woods were beautiful and the pond was quaint and kid friendly. The showers and laundry rooms were extremely clean.
We would Recommend to friends and all! When back in New England we will make another visit here.
The staff here are the most friendliest people I’ve met. The grounds are kept in excellent condition. Every weekend they have tournaments where they get a lot of campers together to have so much fun. There is a pond where you can swim in, feed fish, or enjoy the water fountain in the middle. A pool and game hall is conveniently located at the front, along with a playground for youngsters. Toilets, showers, and laundry room are tidy and clean. It’s the best vacation my family and I have enjoyed. I implore anyone that is looking for a quaint and homely feeling to stop by and spend a weekend there. Thank you Rest n Nest for the expierance.
The location was perfect - conveniently close to the interstate yet delightfully serene without any noise disruptions. The staff at the campground were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Despite arriving on short notice, they managed to secure a spot for us right next to the charming swimming pond. The highlight of our trip was seeing the kids have an absolute blast on the three rafts in the water - they were entertained for hours!
I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities. The showers and bathrooms were spotless throughout our stay, which made a huge difference in our overall comfort. It's evident that the staff puts in consistent effort to ensure a clean and enjoyable environment for all guests.
Start with the good things. The lady that makes the reservations and check ins is probably the nicest person we have ever dealt with at a park. She is very accommodating. The name of the park fits perfect. It's very peaceful and relaxing yet right off the highway. No expressway noise, very quiet. The sites are in beautiful tall mature trees. A small forest. With a little attention this place would be outstanding. It is a little dated. All the sites I saw could use fresh gravel we were constantly tracking dirt boarding on mud into the rig. The gravel would also take care of the need for blocking to level your rig. Overall a nice park and I would stay here again.
FANTASTIC CAMPGROUND!
Travel nurses and other traveling professionals welcome. The owner and staff are so friendly and accommodating. You can easily keep to yourself or join in with the campgrounds planned activities.
I personally enjoyed their pool all summer. They’ve got a swimming pond for kiddos who want to splash and jump and a playground. The showers and restrooms are well kept and the laundry set up was easy to use.
Could not recommend this place enough! If we’re in the area again, we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks Rest’N’Nest!!
