It is impossible to capture on a computer screen the beauty and calm atmosphere of our campground’s riverside setting tucked away in the mountains. The waterfall and swimming hole, the group campfire site in the open field, and the peaceful flow of the river all have to be experienced in person.
Stretched along the scenic Brewster River, our campground offers a delightful place to relax and reconnect with nature. Enjoy the tranquil sight and sound of the river with its 20′ waterfalls. Experience a truly dark night that will amaze you with the number of stars visible when there is no pollution from city lights. Evenings in mid-summer, the fireflies fill the meadow with twinkling lights. Many campers report the best night's sleep in years while staying here.
The bathhouse was just renovated this year (2022) so it’s very clean and comfortable. It includes a bathroom for each man and woman, hot showers, soaps and shampoo, an outside sink for washing dishes, speedy wifi, and outlets for charging your electronics (Note that showers may not be finished until beginning-mid August).
I can’t say enough nice things about this campground, but I’ll start:
1. The white noise from sleeping along the river is 👌. Best sleep I’ve ever had outside.
2. The cabin was super cute and comfortable and allowed the non-outdoorsy contingent to stay close to us.
3. The hosts are amazing. Very kind and responsive and went above and beyond to find and mail us some things we left behind.

This place is incredible! My wife and I stayed on one of the river sites. It is so beautiful here. We went and hung out in the river every day. There are some wonderful swimming holes along it. Plenty of firewood to purchase, bathrooms are clean and wonderful. The owners are awesome! Just a text or call away for any questions that need answering. We loved it so much that we stayed an extra day. We stayed on a lawn site as well which is also lovely and had a wonderful community vibe to it. My wife and I will be back next year as this has become our favorite campground. We highly recommend!
Absolutely beautiful campground with amazing hosts! It has a scenic river right by the campground you can explore any time of year. Fiona and Matt were also amazing hosts who were very responsive and had a clean and welcoming space for my stay. Highly recommend!
I cannot recommend this place enough. It's just magical; the entire campground surrounds a beautiful river in the woods. The place is extraordinary. The loft has everything you need to relax and have a wonderful weekend. We are so grateful for coming across this place! Thank you, Matthew and Fiona, for being such great hosts!

Stayed at a cozy Airbnb located at the Brewster river campground and it was fabulous! The secluded house was gorgeous, very clean and very modern. It had a fireplace and sauna! Everything from candles to games! We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go during the summer as it’s right on the river! Hosts were awesome too!
