Kind of expensive for just electric. $20 a night. You pay at a self pay station, but can only select one night at a time. If you plan to stay longer, you must pay everyday. There is water on site along with a dump station, but really, it's just a parking lot. No showers. I heard there was a bathroom available to use at the visitor's center, but we didn't bother. The parking lot had plenty of space to park. My kids did love the extra room to ride their bikes, rollerblade, and ride hoverboards. The even spent a lot of time playing hide and seek. It's located right off a main road, but it is quiet without a lot of traffic. It was very clean and I felt quite safe! Smith's and propane refill are right across the street. Overall, not a bad experience, but not great. Would have given more stars if water hook ups were available.
This is a parking lot with 16 pull-through RV spaces next to a very nice Visitor Center with restrooms (open from 10 to 2 while we were there). There are electric hook ups between every other site. Water is available on one side of the parking lot, and there is a dump station. Some road noise but quiet at night. Excellent restaurant across the street called Pig + Fig Bakery/Cafe.
For the area, this is great to have. There is really nowhere else to go anywhere close. I'm happy its there. Now the ugly truth. Nothing is level and its not level in 2 directions so plan on it. There are no facilities such as restrooms or showers. There is water and a dump station. There is 20/30/50 amp at each site. $20 per 24 hours and you have to pay daily. There is a 14 day limit. This is all enforced by the county daily and they'll tow you out if you violate the terms. There is a grocery store across the street if you need one. Restaurants are in Los Alamos, virtually nothing in White Rock.
Stayed for one night to hike and see Bandelier National Monument. Electrical hookup. Water and dump common not at site. It’s a parking lot so sites are super close. Washrooms are mobile on a parking spot. Run by the municipality. Hwy noise goes all night long.
Nice last minute, no reservations needed. They have rv community potable water available on the side next to the black water dump. Each drive threw has its own 30 and 60 amp connections. You'll need leveling ramps the lot is very unevening. 20 bucks seems reasonable for 24hr stay. Usually in at 3pm out by 11am.
