It was a beautiful place to hike and take photos of nature. It would have been a nice place to camp out. There was plenty of areas and plenty of parking. There is a $6 fee if you intend on staying there.

Very quiet, secluded hidden Meadow.

Coyotes howled in the evening and we woke to a bull elk bugling in the distance. One of the best places I ever camped.

Beautiful serene place! Well kept pit toilets. Plenty of campsites on Friday night $6/night. Perfect for camping before hiking Sierra Blanca and Lookout. Fire ban was in place while I was there so no fire grill nor campfire but stoves were allowed. Site 11 was nice and secluded, set back off the road so didn’t hear anyone or see anyone else. Flat spot for my tent near the picnic table was perfect.

We did a three and half mile hike and I was worn out, yet I enjoyed every bit of if. It was good to see the dead tree's cut down and the brush cleared out as well. The trails are clean, the wild life is left wild, we need more hikes like this 7,000+ feet in elevation gets your lungs breathing fresh air again.

We got a gorgeous spot with an incredible view! Bathroom was clean and spots all have nice picnic tables. Camping fee was only $6 and well worth it. Good location for Lincoln National Forest exploring and hiking, white sands national park, and the cute mountain town of Ruidoso!
