Visited the resort when there wasn’t a lot of people there due to weather. Facility is well kept, and the people are very nice and it allowed my wife and I to be relaxed. Have a trip planned in two weeks over the weekend and Loki g forward to it.
First if your a single male, not recommended as the owner doesnt like them and watches your every move. John the owner, can be quite rude and poor sense of humor. Met some great people there and the overall place is clean.
I called Whispering Pines and made a reservation for a tent site for one night. I'm so glad I did! John reserved a site for me at a very reasonable rate with electric, near the bathhouse, and he made sure it stopped raining so I could set up my tent. LOL They have dances on Saturday nights, so that was fun. Everyone I met was welcoming and friendly, without being 'overly' friendly. I felt comfortable the whole time I was there. Bathrooms were clean and there were lights on at night. I wish I could have stayed longer!
