We loved the Wilmington KOA! Great people with smiles on their faces. They work really hard too to keep the place running great and it's very clean too.

5 stars 👍👍👍👍👍

I would absolutely recommend this campground to anyone needing a place to stay. We booked same day for a tent spot and when we arrived we met the nicest group of people working there. Everyone was so nice, everything was clean, and there were tons of amenities. This was our first time camping and they truly set the bar high. We were hammock camping and they were more than happy to move our camping spot to accommodate that. Bathrooms were clean and better than expected too. The only down side for the bathrooms was the showers were just a little small. If we are ever staying in the area again we will absolutely stay here again.

Nowhere To Be Bus

Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Small campground with very nice premium sites, located a few miles away from Historic Downtown and the many attractions including Battleship NC, the Bizarre Museum, The Sorrow Drowner, and more.

The entrance driveway is shared with a gas station and a separate car wash, so it can get a little busy with traffic.

That driveway was also under repair so there were some potholes, uneven pavement, loose gravel, and traffic cones.

The traffic on the main road can get pretty dense around 5pm so be aware of that factor when you are calculating your arrival time.

We had an emergency and had to extend our stay. The staff was willing to work with us and accommodate us while we resolved the issue which was very appreciated.

We had a family gathering and stayed in cabins. They were just perfect. Very clean, had all the items you need for a great experience. Fire wood delivered to your site upon request. The kids enjoyed the playground, the dogs enjoyed the fenced play area and we all enjoyed our stay!! It was awesome.
