I've made so many memories through the years at Springmaid Mountain, and I cherish each and every one. Their prices are reasonable, and occasional deals on their already great rates are now being offered. The staff is amazing (big shout-out to Joe, who has been a constant friendly face for so long that seeing him feels like visiting a loved relative!) I have never had anything less than a stellar experience during my stays in both their charming cabins, as well as their enchanting campground. Most of the sites are perfectly spaced and secluded for privacy, and the facilities are clean and tastefully decorated in a beautiful rustic style. Their horses are well-behaved and friendly, and the great care they are given are reflected in their health and attitudes. Just know before you go that Springmaid Mountain is addicting, and there is no such thing as only visiting there once.

We enjoyed the campground very much! Weekend after July 4 and it was very quiet with only 4 other campers. So much fun driving down and tubing near the main office. Also couldn't schedule a horsback lead line for my children online so when I got to the office for checkin I asked them and they scheduled it for us.

This is a beautiful place! Friendly staff, restroom/ shower house an laundry, horses, the river, all was great! I came with my 21’ toy hauler and it was tight, I wouldn’t say this place is setup for larger trailers, uneven sites, no sewage hookup and dump station had no running water and was UPHILL, unable to use unless you transfer into a portable tank first! Verizon cell service was usable.

Excellent place. We would definitely go back. Very relaxing. Beautiful. We had some visters and they were not scared of us. They stayed for a bit.

Very relaxing, quiet campground during the week. The tent pads are a bit small for a family size tent, but the owner was very accommodating and let us move to one that fit our tent since only one other site was being used at the time of our stay. Bathhouse was convenient. Bathrooms were clean. Though we didn't need it, there was also a washer and dryer available to use. Would highly recommend.
