Mostly seasonal campers. Tight spots for overnight campers. Only 1 of 3 mens shower stalls by our site worked & it had very low pressure with a clogged up shower head. Nice pools & they had a good band the night we were there.

They tried to have an ADA cabin but came up short. The ramp is no where near to code and very steep. A wheelchair user would likely struggle. There is no landing at the bottom, instead gravel. The cabin is in an area where you need to go down a hill and then back up. Again not good for someone that actually has mobility concerns. The area around the cabin is uneven, again not safe for someone with mobility concerns. They should have made one of the cabins near the store and pool accessible so it would be a semi flat area to get to the amenities. The cabin is new and nice other than the ramp.

Went Mon-Wed and there were not many campers which was nice as we were the only ones in the pool. Store closes early and is not stocked get well. Forgot Graham crackers for smores and they didn't have any. Snack hut and bar not open. during week.

Grounds were dirty with trash. Our site had 2 towels left on it. Site next to us that was unoccupied had rotten hotdogs and other garbage in the pit . Game room was very dirty and hadn't been stocked with items.

Stayed there this past weekend, and overall not a horrible place. The bathrooms were clean and pool was nice during the week. However, the seasonal campers are very rude. Had to bring in our trailer through a party area to get it parked, where golf carts and people just stood in the way. The people stare at you instead of trying to let you pass by. Won't be returning mainly because of the rude people.

This Campground is great for families, great for children. There are groups of children running around and playing; it's really nice. Many people are riding in golf carts and they look really happy, and some are carrying alcoholic beverages.

Campsites are really tight but everyone seems really happy, it's not for me but I've been in tighter campsites ... there are a LOT of seasonal campsites, most of them are really well kept up and add to the festive atmosphere, the first few one drives past upon entering the camp are certainly off-putting.

Dog run is nice.

Trail is nice. Beware of poison ivy ...

I'm subtracting 1 Star because bathrooms are moderately clean, and should be checked more frequently, especially with this many people and children using them.

This Campground exudes happiness and celebration. It's too crowded for my personal taste, but people are really happy here and absolutely enjoying themselves.

The young man at the front desk is very professional and handled himself very well when the annoyed and probably drunk man was persistently badgering him about some campsite rule ...

Over the years we have written several reviews about this campground - it switches hands often and with new ownership comes new experiences. I would suspect new ownership again soon as the staffing and management seems grossly inadequate and inappropriate. Definitely not KOA standards. The restrooms were dirty and unkempt. The staff in the office were wonderful and friendly but the self appointed security staff harassed and badgered the teenagers in our group especially the girls. He taunted them and called them by the names on their sweatshirts as he tailgated them on his golf cart. He separated the girls from each other and made them feel targeted and unsafe. When we caught him in the act he said that kids with yeti cups are not allowed to leave their campsites. (Does a teenager go anywhere without a yeti cup these days?!) He admitted that they were not causing any trouble on their 8 pm walk together but he was in charge and the presumedly drunk kids were to follow his rules. He didn’t stop at the teenagers tho and shined flashlights on the younger kids as they played at the park. To call things creepy would be an understatement. I understand that there has been security breaches in the campers since this crew took the lead (a new phenomenon here) and I believe that if they took a good look at their staffing they would find the root cause. It sounds like the campers involved also had young ladies that stay there.

I would love to see the great days of the old Westward Ho back were families were welcomed and treated like family. A place where kids could play and swim without worry of being tailgated by staff or golf carts but I fear it will be a long wait before I write that review. Weekenders are simply not welcome here anymore and neither are families of diverse age groups.

***No children (from our group) were drinking at the time of the harassment. Your staff would have been clearly aware of that had they behaved appropriately and professionally.
