This was a great time. Only issue is not all the parking is public. The lot closes to the animal barns is for reserved parking. The mid way so much better this year compared to past years.
Tesla did a great show! Could use more portable bathrooms for a concert on the main stage. 8 only? Long lines frustrate people quickly. Other than that a great time!
Great little area. Tons of different foods. The lobster roll was tiny as heck from the crab shack food truck. Tasted really good though. Saw an amazing skillet concert while I was there also.
Fair is rather small. Not much to do outside of overpriced games and some rides. Fair is free to get into ~ parking costs 10 dollars. Which is reasonable. The animals are nice and fun to pet. Shaved ice was delicious. Should be more things to do. We went during the day and it was not busy at all. Was not there too long.
The Fond du Lac County Fair is very well-planned and executed. The music talent, exhibits, and events are all impressive. The food is awesome. And the grounds feel safe and clean. The animal buildings and the grandstand are getting pretty run-down. Hopefully, the county can invest in this incredible asset so it can be better utilized and continue to be enjoyed for years to come!
