From jct Hwy 87 & Hwy 207: Go 5 mi W on Hwy 207, then 1/2 mi N on Leonard's Bridge Rd.
Pros: Great fishing for kids (sunfish and bass); spacious lots; well maintained campground; nice pool, rec hall and playground; reasonably priced store. Cons: bathrooms are REALLY far apart; golf carts are expensive.
This is my opinion and should be taken as such...
The campground overall was nice. It was the first weekend they were open. Roads could be tight at points. Especially on the way to the dump station. There is a 91 degree right turn to take. And right before the dump station there are 2 trees that seem very intimidating. We did not attempt this trek with the camper. But, many seasonals said it was doable. Staff was super friendly. The campground is in estimates 90 percent seasonal. The site layouts around the lake have the power and gray water at the front left of the site rather than the rear right. My advice is to bring extra cord and extra hoses. We stayed for a week, it was quiet and relaxing.
This is a wonderful campground extra quiet with a laid back atmosphere. They still had some activities even during fall camping during one of their last weekends.
Cabin was nice. Clean grounds. Very family friendly. VERY clean bathrooms. Staff is professional, friendly and extremely helpful. We had a problem with our a/c. It was fixed promptly. We had a great stay. Thank you Water's Edge!
